EcoEscapes Inn

Hi-Fi Prototypes using Figma

As part of a web design class project, I developed a comprehensive five-page website for a hypothetical “Eco Lodging” type business. I was tasked with creating an original business concept and designing an accompanying website. I successfully executed a user-centered design strategy to enhance online user engagement. The project involved detailed wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and WordPress implementation plans, showcasing advanced skills in UX/UI design and responsive web development.

Business Concept:

EcoEscapes Inn is a unique eco-friendly bed and breakfast nestled in a picturesque nature preserve that stands out with its natural springs, creeks, and hiking trails. It offers guests a serene retreat from urban life, with a strong focus on sustainability and environmental stewardship. The inn's standout features include organic gardens, renewable energy sources, friendly animals, and eco-friendly accommodations. Guests can immerse themselves in a range of outdoor activities, from hiking and bird watching to cycling and workshops on sustainable living.

E-Commerce Plant Store App

React Native Mobile Development Project

For this project, I developed a new React Native application: a simple Plant Store E-Commerce App. I created a Home screen, a Cart screen, a Navigation Screen, and multiple plant category pages. The app has features for adding plants to the cart, emptying the cart, increasing or decreasing the quantity of each plant in the cart, checking out, and navigating through the app using drawer navigation or the navigation page. 

In the "src" folder, I have two subfolders titled "components" and "screens". The "components" folder contains only two files. The "screens" folder contains a file named "CartScreen.js" which also contains components for adding or subtracting items from the cart, checking out, and emptying the cart.
